We are frequenters of AYCE sushi and this place has the best meat quality and in such big meat slabs for sure of the AYCE places we have been to. And for a geat price of $36! Big place with lots of seating and good service!

My friends and I all came here for an AYCE lunch. It was all of our first times visiting the location. They have some good AYCE deals. It's a nice dark lighting inside-- really good for the heat in the summer. The food was actually great quality. Normally I get a ton of pictures but it was so good I forgot lol! My picture captures a Philly roll and some nigiri in the background. Service was also very very kind. I loved the ambiance and vibes in here. It was such a great energy. I plan to return to the location.

All you can eat sushi for $36 or whatever it is That's all you need to know. It's not the worlds best sushi but it is better than anything you will ever get in Indianapolis or at your local gas station. The staff is always friendly here which is nice and you can even watch sports while you eat all the sushi you can for like $36

I've been a loyal customer of Sushi One Spot since its earlier days at Asahi Riverside, and I've continued to follow the owner's journey through various locations, including Asahi Corona and Sushi One Spot Rancho Cucamonga. Now, with their newest establishment in Montclair, I couldn't resist revisiting for a second time. On this occasion, my wife, a couple of friends, and I visited on a midweek evening around 6 pm, finding the restaurant pleasantly uncrowded. Our server, Sydney, was exceptional - attentive, courteous, and impressively fast. Opting for the all-you-can-eat option at $36.95 per person, we dove into our feast. The sushi was consistently delicious, as expected, but we did notice a increase in rice portions in the Nigiri Sushi and sushi rolls compared to our previous visit. Nevertheless, the quality was still top-notch. The restaurant's interior was clean and tidy, and the sushi chefs worked efficiently to fulfill orders. Overall, our experience at Sushi One Spot Montclair reaffirmed why I've been a loyal customer for so long. With excellent service, delicious food, and a clean environment, it's a sushi spot worth returning to time and time again. Definitely recommended for sushi enthusiasts in the area! My boyfriend and I ordered to go from here It was our first time. The Togo order offered a buy one get one free on sushi rolls and he ordered unagi and spider crab roll it was a great portion and he loved it I ordered avocado roll and inari my favorite desert tofu sushi Inari isn't common at every sushi restaurant so when I see it I get really excited It's a sweet tofu paste outside rice within so Good The cucumber salad was fantastic The only thing I didn't really care for was the tofu salad I think it's missing on the pickled carrots would've been a nice addition Also a better sauce for the salad it was too plain I would highly recommend the sushi at the restaurant and the sushi chefs and hostess were kind when I came in to pick up the Togo order

LOVE THIS PLACE. It's probably one of the best ayce sushi places I have been to. For appetizers, we got the spicy garlic edamame and baked mussels. The edamame was addicting. Not overly salty. Perfect amount of heat. The baked mussels were great, too. All the nigiris were excellent. Salmon and yellowtail had such great flavor. Even though the salmon looked large in size, it was soft and delicate. The unagi was soft and warm with just a hint of sweetness. Some places can go overboard on the sweetness, but this had the perfect amount. It makes you come back for more. For baked rolls, we got the Diablo and XOXO. The Diablo came with so many scallops! It was a very generous amount. The favorite, though, was the XOXO. Well balanced. A perfect bite. Also got the Asahi roll. It's a very large sushi roll so beware! That being said, it was delicious. Just maybe order it with a large group so you save room for other items. Last but not least, loved the service. I've been a customer of Sushi Asahi from Riverside back in the day, and the same waitress from there works at Sushi One Spot. Love her! She's the best.
